Another close call…

Today’s album came to me in my favorite way. I was driving to work when a friend texted to ask if I had heard it, so I put it in my queue for the drive home. This is the true life blood of this blog. Gives me the feels.

No thoughts today. Just more listening.

Almost forgot to post this. Idiot.

This album contains an amazing cover of “This Must Be The Place” by The Talking Heads. That is all. EDIT: Someone who I assume is not the real David Byrne pointed out the fallacy in this post, thereby negating it entirely. The cover referenced is actually by Imaginary Future. I have a copy of Mingus’ book, Beyond the Underdog, that’s been sitting on my shelf for about 10 years. This is another perfect chance for me to tell myself that I’m going to put it on my reading queue, but still never get to it. Some things never change.
