Up next in this little stretch of albums from our European friends is Germany’s legendary RAMMSTEIN. These guys are a powerhouse. If you like heavy/industrial music, it’s extremely likely that you are familiar with at least a couple of their songs, and if you were a music fan at all in the ‘90s and ‘00s you’ve definitely heard “Du Hast.” They also consistently contribute innovative and controversial music videos to the zeitgeist. Theirs is a catalog filled with unapologetically pointed political and social commentary. I’ve never had the occasion to see them live, but they are definitely high on my wanted list. Google some of their concert footage and see for yourself. Few artists use as much pyrotechnics.
