Another musical legend passed away, the reggae powerhouse Lee “Scratch” Perry. He produced Bob Marley and defined the reggae and dub genres while being one of the most uniquely styled people in music. He also cultivated a mystical persona, at times claiming that he was from space while also being devoutly religious.

I’ve always really enjoyed this band. I finally got the chance to see them at Coachella 2019 and they did not disappoint. We’ll be seeing them when they come through LA this December at the Palladium, one of my favorite venues. This album features a great collaboration with Robert Smith. What more could you want?

I’ve been working on Red Table Talk for a couple of years now, so I hear a lot about the artistic exploits of Willow Smith. This, her latest album, is more pop-punk than her previous offerings and features some very cool songs, as well as some big-time collaborators.

Halsey has an upcoming album that’s being produced by Trent Reznor, who is one of my favorite artists to see live. It is now one of my most anticipated upcoming albums.
