Two albums by the same artist in one week is an unprecedented event for this blog. I had generally hoped to avoid such an occurrence, but with this being an album that I was very much looking forward to, I couldn’t help myself. Earlier, we listened to Halsey’s first album, and now we have the most recent, which really provides a picture of her musical journey. This one was produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Nine Inch Nails’ Oscar-winning duo. Their influence on the sound of this album is undeniable and I can’t help but hope for a NIN and Halsey tour whenever they feel like doing it.
