I suppose every country has their own guitar heroes, and this artist is definitely one of Japan’s most accomplished guitar slingers. His extensive catalog and almost 50 year career are beyond impressive and he can probably take credit for influencing the rock/jazz/fusion scene in Japan. He also made an album based on The Rainbow Goblins, a beautiful children’s book which also inspired a Primus concept album almost 35 years later.
