I was about to pick an album that is a tribute to Electric Ladyland when I noticed that I could listen to a recently released live recording by the genuine article. I was just thinking yesterday about so many of my favorite artists who I will never have the chance to include in my listening odyssey because I’ve heard everything they’ll ever produce. It was such a welcome surprise to discover this newly released live album by someone who I’ve been listening to as long as I have been aware of the guitar as well as someone who has always inspired me as a lefty guitarist.
