I became aware of the Butthole Surfers with the release of 1996’s Electriclarryland, which I listened to extensively throughout my high school years. It wasn’t until much later that I learned how long their career already was at that point, punctuated by several classic albums, including today’s selection. Their album titles alone are more attention-getting than many artist’s entire catalogs.
