Everybody loves Fridays. It’s the day that marks the end of the traditional work and school weeks and the beginning of the much-anticipated weekend. The time when we are furthest from more work. I also love it for another reason: new albums generally come out on Friday (sometimes Tuesday, too, so don’t bother pointing that out to me) and I really enjoy making a selection that is on the first day that most anyone can hear it. It makes me feel like I’m up on the newest thing, if only for a self-deluding moment.
