I always enjoy discovering artists with a long history and deep catalog. While it’s also great to find new and up-and-coming bands, when you find something that really sparks your interest, having a bunch of material to peruse makes the discovery all the more interesting.

I can’t get enough of ambient/post-rock bands. It’s been my go-to genre recently for general purposes, especially for its meditative qualities.

If you’re ever trying to get me to listen to an artist that I’m not familiar with, if they have a song that features a Rick and Morty sample, that would be a strong selling point.

These guys are a nice blend of mellow guitar work and vocal harmonies. Just another triumph of the Spotify algorithm-based album selection method.
