This blog project has really led me to celebrate the different tastes and experiences among my friends. It makes my life a lot easier to just be able to ask someone who knows better what they’ve been listening to. In this case, I’ve had my hip hop knowledge expanded as well as discovering a new artist with a background that bears little resemblance to my own. If there’s one big takeaway from today’s selection, it’s that Freddie Gibbs has a very snowy entrepreneurial past. Great album cover, as well.
