I’m in the process of working my way through the artists of the Elephant 6 Collective, a musical collective made up of the members of indie rock bands. So far, I’ve listened to albums by Neutral Milk Hotel, The Apples In Stereo and Of Montreal. Still to come are Beulah, Elf Power, The Minders, Circulatory System and The Olivia Tremor Control. Though their work is very eclectic, they all share the influence of the big psychedelic pop groups of the 1960s, The Beach Boys, The Beatles and The Zombies.
