I feel like yesterday’s selection really reinvigorated me for this project. Anyone who reads my posts regularly has surely noticed an encroaching apathy over the past couple of weeks that I am hoping to shake off. I realize it’s a part of the cyclical, repetitious nature of the pandemic to have these down periods come and go, and I’m sure a lot of people are experiencing this same pattern, but that doesn’t make it any more pleasant. Albums like Zoy Zoy make a great rallying point to center my day around. I think I’ll have to try to make the daily selection a lot earlier in the day. Couldn’t hurt to try it, especially with so much amazing and uplifting music left to discover.
