Happy made-up-celebration-of-sentimental-consumerism day to all. It seems to me that the year is punctuated by far too many arbitrary celebrations and this one is one of the more expendable. At least the next one, St. Patrick’s Day, provides a good excuse for a full day of inebriation and corned beef.
