I have to throw in a metal selection every so often. That, combined with my goal of making this blog a bit more worldly and diverse, puts Sepultura squarely in the middle of my Venn diagram of demographic representation that I’m looking for. These guys are part of my favorite genre of angry music, groove metal. Nice and heavy, but with a driving, syncopated beat along with slower tempos than you’re used to hearing in metal.
