I hope everybody out there is staying safe and taking the recommended precautions. In many ways, it feels like America is perched at the edge of a cliff with quite a few options for how to get pushed over. This may well prove to be the most disastrous Thanksgiving ever, as a significant amount of the population is actively rejecting the guidance of the scientific community. And then there’s the president’s favorite “doctor,” Scott Atlas, who spews a torrent of misinformation at every opportunity. With such garbage being the public position of the administration’s medical representatives, we are right and truly screwed. This is going to be a bleak and ugly holiday season.
