I was listening to the new Kanye single today, which features 2 Chainz and DaBaby, and realized 2 Chainz was overdue for an appearance on NAAD. Also, “Nah Nah Nah” is a solid track. It’s amazing that Kanye can produce music while running a presidential campaign.

I’ve know many people who have recommended Coheed and Cambria to me over the years, some of them legitimately obsessed. It was never really my cup of tea, though I do appreciate the guitar work. Another close call…

Today’s album came to me in my favorite way. I was driving to work when a friend texted to ask if I had heard it, so I put it in my queue for the drive home. This is the true life blood of this blog. Gives me the feels.

I have a copy of Mingus’ book, Beyond the Underdog, that’s been sitting on my shelf for about 10 years. This is another perfect chance for me to tell myself that I’m going to put it on my reading queue, but still never get to it. Some things never change.
