I discovered this artist through their collaboration with Tycho, who has been one of my favorite artist/producers for that past several years. This has been a very effective avenue for discovering new music as he frequently collaborates with quite a collection of artists.

Rounding out my coverage of the solo albums by members of The Postal Service, Jimmy Tamborello is a stand out in the world of electronic music. He was instrumental in the mixing of techno sounds with indie rock moodiness and always has something new and interesting to add to the musical landscape.

I always love a good instrumental, atmospheric album and these guys always deliver in that department. They also put on a fantastic show.

Anyone who puts a picture of their cat on their album cover is alright by me. Is that even her cat, though? It’s gonna haunt me.

My most prolific album suggester strikes again. This is a beautiful album that I loved. It gave me one of my most enjoyable drives home in recent memory.

I just heard of this artist from an article about the inspirations behind some actress’s new album. Really an enjoyable, mellow listen.
