I saw a video of this group performing at some American radio station and was very intrigued, and not just by their name. They’re very similar to another band that I am quite fond of, Khurangbin.

This band is made up of a group of childhood friend and fronted by a brother-sister duo. This is the first of two albums by this LA based group who originally came together as a session band. Their second album, Ice Melt, is actually named after the bags of coarse rock salt that is used to keep sidewalks and stairs clear of ice in certain climates. How’s that for a fun fact?
