I keep on seeing this band in Spotify suggestions and on festival lineups and finally gave them a shot after reading about the premise of this album. It’s basically a take on reincarnation and the idea that people live more than one lifetime, but what happens in the time between your death and rebirth? Enter this album with some thoughts along those lines. Now I will have to read the book that was a partial inspiration for the album (along with the Tibetan book of the dead), Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders.
