One of my musical heroes who I’ve been obsessed with for a long time is Nick Drake. However, it had never occurred to me that he would fall into a similar category or genre as Elliot Smith. Now that I have made that connection – with the help of the Spotify algorithm- it feels silly that I never put it together before now. I’m obviously not as perceptive and musically tuned-in as I have convinced myself that I am. Still learning new stuff every day, some of it is more uplifting than others.
