A lot of people’s eyes roll back in their head when you mention anything to do with Phish, so it’s always fun when one of their side projects comes out. These often feature serious departures from the normal Phish style. This album, for example, features some cool material that is more reminiscent of some of the classic progressive rock bands like Genesis and Yes. Perhaps such genre outreach will bring more people into the Phish fold, but then again, perhaps not.
