In keeping with one of this blog’s oldest traditions – learning about a band through an obituary – today’s selection came to my attention following the tragic death of their bass player, Steve Mackey. It’s always cool and fun learning about a little-known band with a cult following, but it’s even better when you’re discovering someone with a serious following and an extensive catalog, as is the case today.
