I can’t believe that I’ve been doing this long enough to get to 1000 albums. This project, which became a small, daily accomplishment and writing exercise during the Covid lockdown, has truly become a defining part of my daily routine. I know there’s not a ton of people out there going on this listening odyssey with me, but I can’t overstate just how much I have gained – and continue to gain – from this project. I honestly can’t imagine what it would take to make me turn away from my daily selection. So hopefully somebody that follows and listens along with me will gain something from the experience, as I have. Here’s to another 1000!
