Every so often I wait until late in the day to listen to an album. I prefer to get it out of the way early in the day to get a feeling of accomplishment coming out of my mornings, but it doesn’t always work out that way. When that happens, the selection will be more indicative of my mindset of that day than it would be with a morning listen, as the stage has already been set in whatever way. This artist was picked late in the evening when I was looking for something extremely chill and relaxing. It think this is also the shortest album I’ve ever chosen, coming in at just under 14 minutes.
