I read an article the other day about some of the more intense material on this album, specifically the song 29, which is about their relationship with Fez from That 70s Show. Apparently they started dating right when they turned 18 and he was 29, but had known each other for years already. Now that they are the same age he was at the time, I’m sure that relationship seems a lot different than it did at the time. It’s an interesting topic and a very gray one.
