#802 – Shapeshifter by Marcy Playground

When I was young, the way music was publicized through radio and traditional media often did a disservice to to the artist and the album as a whole. There are so many albums from back then where the single that the label chose was not necessarily representative of the bulk of the work. For that reason, I often find myself really liking artists from back then significantly more than I thought I did when I revisit their catalogs. This is a good example of that. I liked their hit from way back when, Sex & Candy, but for whatever reason never went beyond it.
