Not sure what to say about this album, besides it bearing the hallmarks of the standard ‘80s albums, right down to the glorification of the cocaine scene. I mean, the title is Lines and the cover art features a scene where the lines have just been finished.

This is one of those niche artists that has a cult following in certain circles – namely the psychonaut/edm world – and is completely obscure outside of that.

Just watched the Jagged Little Pill doc and, besides being reminded just how amazing that album is, I realized how many albums she has that I am not familiar with.

If you’re trying to attract my attention to your album, a title like this will certainly get the job done. This artist was another great Shazam discovery. I hope someday they release a full length album and I’m sure the cover art will feature nudity.

This album is by yet another artist with a deep catalog that I have never heard of before. My exploration of modern psychedelia has introduced me to some amazing material, and these guys fall into that category. This is a holiday album by an extremely interesting multi-instrumentalist. It’s hard to classify him in a specific genre, so not sure what to call it, but how can you dislike the work of someone who can whistle so well and is not afraid to use it?

These guys were a jammy addition to the 1970s New York Rock scene. I had heard of them, just because I used to spend a lot of time exploring music from that era, but never really took the time to delve into their good, but sparse catalog.

I have to refer back to the previous Shazam-based post, because that was truly the origin of this discovery as well. After the Jordan Mackampa album ended, a song by this artist came on, and the algorithmic listening experience goes on.
