I love the cover art on this album. This artist has always intrigued me since I heard a story about the writing of his first album. Supposedly he drove up and down the west coast of the United States, by himself, in a van with a bunch of instruments and mushrooms and kept going until the songs were complete. It’s a wonderfully romanticized story of artistic achievement and keeping oneself in the creative mindset.
