I’ve heard a lot of the solo work of the different members of this collective, but I just today learned about the late A$AP Yam, the producer of the Mob. His prolific career was cut short by another in the long string of accidental overdoses that have claimed so many members of the hip hop industry. And like so many of these stories, his involved lean, or codeine cough syrup, the scourge of so many rappers.
