I’m once again disgusted by this blog’s lack of true diversity. It took me just under a year to pick a Spanish language album for the first time. That fact dawned on me as I read an article about the new Netflix show about Selena. I didn’t really know much about her, except that she was murdered and that there are a lot of restaurants in Texas with memorials to her. Turns out her family are like the Jacksons of Mexican music, with her siblings and father all playing in her backing band at one time or another.
