I’ve been watching Jorma Kaukonen’s streaming performance series throughout the pandemic and would recommend it to any lover of guitar music. It goes out live from his Fur Peace Ranch somewhere in Ohio, and there have been more than thirty episodes thus far, plenty of content for those new to the experience. The selection of the day probably should have been more pointed on this, the day after the ugliest day in American democracy, at least in my lifetime. Unfortunately, there are likely to be more uncertain times ahead, as the pandemic shows no signs of ending any time soon and America is as divided as it can be without civil war. I hope everyone stays safe and recognizes the cynical enablers of these ugly scenes for what they are: opportunists for whom the ends always justify the means. Lets not let them drag us all through the mud with them.
