Another day closer to an election day that seems destined for controversy and dispute. It’s hard to imagine anything else, considering the people involved. There are few fleeting moments where I can really forget about it at all, usually when listening to the daily selection, but no distraction lasts very long before the brutal realities of what is possible comes back to mind. I wish I could speak about it flippantly, but the soul of our nation is at stake and on full display to the world. Who or what will we reveal ourselves to be?
