I never thought I’d pick two albums by the same artist only two days apart, but as this is a duo and not an Anderson .Paak solo album, I have successfully rationalized the decision. I am always interested by these kinds of team-up projects, and they generally produce pretty decent material. Two artists that I’ve loved ever since I’ve been aware of them are The Postal Service and The Raconteurs. Collaborations between people with different styles is not very common in most artistic mediums the way it is in music, and I think this is responsible for some really great material.
