Another houseguest recommendation. This is real lot the way to discover new music. You play music/talk about what you’re listening to with other people, and everyone’s passions are revealed. In a musical way, at least.

An illustrious houseguest brought up this artist to me, incredulous that I had never heard of her. While that is always a favorite reaction to my perceived musical ignorance, it also often inspires me to listen, as it has here.

My cousin posted a video from a recent Korn concert, which made me take a look at their catalog. I hadn’t listened to any of their music in well over a decade and really never listened to them regularly, so I knew there would be a lot to get caught up on. I just read an article about the release of this album and they seemed to be someone that I should check out. I wish there was a better story to go along with it, but sometimes my path to an artist is as simple as the Relix Daily 7 email.
