Apparently, you can just keep putting out albums that sound pretty much the same over the years and still have people wanting to listen. Who knew?

I remember the first time I heard the title track from this album when I was a kid. Over the years I heard a few other songs from Arlo’s catalog, but never a whole album. Since this song/album are apparently associated with Thanksgiving, it seemed like an appropriate time to give it a listen.

As a huge Monty Python fan, I’m always interested to hear what the surviving Pythons are up to. I came across this selection in an article about Eric Idle and his successful fight against pancreatic cancer.

This is another band that people have been trying to get me into for years, and for whatever reason I’ve never given them a real chance until now.

I grew up listening to a LOT of Jimi Hendrix and other classic rock artists, and was always hoping for more live recordings from him. This is a great one at one of my favorite venues.

If the name of this artist is not intriguing enough to warrant a listen, I don’t know what is.
