I’m working on Amazon Music Live’s Thursday Night Football concerts and Feid is the performer for tonight’s show. I am definitely not well-versed in the reggaeton world, which makes this the perfect opportunity to learn more about it.

These guys are playing at the My Morning Jacket festival in Mexico this coming April. When I learned about that event, the supporting artists in that lineup went right into my to-do list. This is the first of them, with a bunch more to come.

The poem that starts this album is pretty cool, and sparked my interest in what is a pretty solid country album. This is the kind of country I can get behind, by an artist who could be described as a singer/songwriter with a twang.

With today’s artist, I am adding another new country to NAAD’s global collection. Jorge Drexler is from Uruguay.
