These guys keep popping up in playlists that I’ve been perusing, so it was only a matter of time before I got to one of their albums. They’re a glorious blend of bluegrass and jammy indie rock, blended gloriously for your enjoyment.

I’ve been getting a lot of unsolicited recommendations recently, which really makes this blog a lot easier to keep going. This one was described to me as a perfect accompaniment to certain altered states, and I don’t think I could agree more.

Here’s another great indie rock band that Spotify’s algorithm has led me to. I swear, that app knows me better than I know myself. It might just be my closest friend at this point, or at least one of my most important relationships.
