After working with this artist last year on the Amazon Music Thursday Night Football concert, I was super impressed with his performance and especially his band. Then I got another chance to see them when they played at Coachella. Here is yet another genre and artist that I never gave much of a thought about until I was put in the position where I couldn’t ignore how fun and entertaining they are, thus expanding my listening horizons again. Now I just need to learn enough Spanish to have some understanding of what the songs are about, as well as to reduce my embarassment at having lived in Southern California for almost twenty years without putting any effort into learning to communicate better with so many people I interact with.
