I’m in Chicago this weekend, working on a comedy special. We found out shortly before arriving here that today would be a short day, so we checked to see what was happening on a beautiful June Friday night in Chicago, only to discover that there was a Wilco show at a great, newish outdoor venue that they were playing for the first time. I’ve been wanting to see them for years, and they are the only remaining band whose Covid-cancelled show I had not gotten closure on. But no longer. It was a great show, and these guys, Cut Worms, were the opening act.
Oh wait, I guess I still need to see They Might Be Giants. Hmm.
