I read an article this week about how Trent Reznor was listening to this album a lot while writing and recording the 1999 Nine Inch Nails album The Fragile. As a huge fan of that album, and NIN in general, I had to follow along. I’ve definitely known about Dr. Octagon for a long time, but never heard more than a track or two until now. Listening to this now, though, I definitely hear what Trent found interesting, though that could just be in my view through Reznor-tinted glasses.
