This is a great time of year for me to replenish my album to-do list. Every music publication puts out their various year-end wrap-up lists of their top 100 albums of the year or best new artists or whatever criteria they choose. This album, which I cannot recommend highly enough, came from a short list of eight under-the-radar albums from 2023 as posted on Instagram by @somewhere_soul. Not only are his picks spot on, but he really has a music listening-based IG account to aspire to.
