I have a friend from work who is known in the Burning Man community as Moondog. So when I saw an article in the guardian about an artist by the same name, I had to check him out. He was apparently a fixture in New York’s art and music scene in the ‘60s and ‘70s and put out a bunch of albums that featured interesting orchestral instrumentation along with his poetry. He also looks like a wizard, complete with the long beard and black robes. Seems like an interesting fellow all around.
