While I realize that I listened to a recording of Gustav Holst’s The Planets not too long ago, I came across this unique version and had to pass it along. This one is an all-electronic reimagining of the classic piece by a legendary composer and prolific electronic musician.

I was listening to the livestream of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival last night and Bela Fleck brought out Basseku Kouyate for a couple songs, calling him the Bela Fleck of Mali. Which conversely makes Bela Fleck the Basseku Kouyate of America. That’s how that works, right?
