I grew up abhorring top 40 music. I’m not sure if it’s just that I was so closed-minded when I was younger or that the pop music of my youth was just not that appealing to me, but recently I’ve been enjoying it more than I ever thought possible. This selection came to me while driving my wife’s car and the album’s single came on while I was driving my kids to school. It was a long, winding road to get me to this point, but I’m finding myself enjoying modern pop more and more as time goes on.
