Due to my FOMO over missing this year’s Desert Daze festival in Joshua Tree National Park, I am going through the lineup and listening to all of the artists that I’m not familiar with, which is how we arrived at today’s selection.

Not sure how I came across these guys, but they are a great trio who came up in the music world as a backing band for a bunch of big time rap and R&B artists, including Alicia Keys, 50 Cent and Lauryn Hill.
