After a particularly prolific Sigur Ros listening experience under very specific and unusual circumstances a few weeks ago, I have been on a quest to discover other artists who create similarly moving musical journeys. Not surprisingly, there are quite a few out there who can be considered peers of the Icelandic soundscape masters and I have really been enjoying exploring that genre. Of course, the experience in question will be hard to replicate, both in the location and circumstances, but it’s certainly worth a shot.
