Today’s album is by one of my favorite live acts, and one who performs with incredible intensity and precision. The times I have seen them have been prolific, immersive experiences and truly, some of my favorite musical memories. This album is much different than what you’d expect in a NIN album, more of an ambient soundscape than a collection of songs. It feels more like a film score than an album, and I’d be surprised if it wasn’t used as such.
